From Korn Krunch to Kona coffee
Long before Kona Mountain Coffee opened its doors in 2007, Bill and Stephanie were already part of the fabric of this town, running Kona Confections, where their handmade chocolates and beloved Korn Krunch popcorn brought a little extra aloha to everyone who stopped in.
Kona Confections eventually closed its doors, but the recipes never left the family. Those same chocolate traditions live on today, poured into every batch we make at Kona Mountain Coffee.
We set out with one goal: build a Kona coffee experience you don't forget. That meant roasting our own beans in-store, crafting our own drink recipes, and never letting go of the chocolate-making that started it all.
Farm to cup, start to finish
Our Farm
Our farm sits on the slopes of Mauna Loa and Hualalai, where the soil is volcanic and the mornings are misty. That's not poetry. That's just what makes Kona coffee taste the way it does.
Learn about our farmSmall batches, in-store
Every batch is roasted fresh Monday through Friday at our Kona store. Small batches, consistent quality, and coffee that actually tastes like it was just roasted... because it was.
Packaged with care
From bagging our coffee to hand-dipping our signature chocolates, every last step happens under our roof.
Fueled by the Aloha Spirit, we work to elevate the Kona Coffee industry, support local businesses, empower our team, and enrich our community.
