Is Kona Coffee just a marketing phrase, or does it really mean something?
Kona Coffee is grown only within a legally delimited strip in the districts of Kona and South Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii, averaging a mile wide and roughly 30 miles long. No farm anywhere else in Hawaii... or the world, for that matter... can legally use the term. Kona Mountain has been certified to use Kona Coffee for all its Kona Coffees, since we farm within the Kona Coffee District.
