It is a primary goal of Kona Mountain Coffee to provide a high quality product all the time. The coffee grown and processed on our farm is held to very high quality standards. We roast and package our own coffee to ensure consistency and freshness. The last step, brewing, is equally important.
How to Brew the Perfect Cup of Aloha
Instructions for brewing 1 cup (8oz) of coffee
Use 1 tablespoon of ground coffee.
Disclaimer: First off, brewing is an art, not a science. You can adjust these recommendations based on your taste buds. Another key factor is the type of coffee brewer you use.
For us at KMC we typically brew 10 cups of coffee each time in which case we use 2.0oz of ground coffee. Typically, an 8oz cup of coffee will need 1 tablespoon of ground coffee.
KMC steps to a perfect cup:
Put 10 cups of filtered water in your coffee brewer.
You're going to need 2.0oz of ground coffee. Any kind of coffee - Medium, Dark or Flavored.
Place ground coffee in a filter of your choice.
Place filter with coffee in assigned destination.
Make sure the coffee pot is clean and ready to accept fresh coffee.
Start the brewing. Brew will take about 5 minutes.
Make sure you taste the coffee.
